But, I'm not the only snacker in the house. My toddler has picked up both the sweet tooth (from my Husband) and the salty snack cravings as well. And to be quite honest, I don't mind if he eats chips & crackers, but truth be told, if those things are in the house, I will eat them. So I've tried hard to just avoid having those types of snacks in the house, because, let's face it, my waistline hates me right now. But let's save that discussion for another post.
Good news, though!! I have something pretty amazing to share with you. We all like surprises, right? Well I get to spill Green Giants surprise. Green Giant now makes veggie chips! They make two flavors -- Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips in Zesty Cheddar, and Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips w/Sea Salt. Let me just tell you, these chips are delicious!!
Let me take a minute to tell you a little about these tasty snacks.
Hmm, sounds pretty darn awesome to me. A healthy chip to snack on? Yes please. I'm always on the lookout for a healthy snack for the whole family. But I'd be lying if I said I got to enjoy these chips all by myself. Nope. My toddler caught wind of my new guilty (but no-so-guilty) pleasure, and it was over.
As soon as these yummy veggie chips arrived at my doorstep and I opened them and started snacking... well... this is what ensued shortly after.
Stick your whole face in the bowl why don't ya?? I'm tellin' you, this kid won't share.
Oh, well, except with his T-Rex of course. His dinosaurs always get special treatment.
Thanks for sharing, Bennett. I didn't get a whole ton of these chips because I mean, Bennett and the hungry dinosaur ate them up pretty fast. But at least it makesthem him happy. :-)
And ya know, I don't feel one bit guilty about letting my 3 year old sit down with these veggie chips and devour them. I'm excited that there are healthy snacking options out there for my family.
So if you're anything like me and you have the strong urge to snack, but are looking for a healthier option -- go try these Green Giant Veggie Chips. They really are delish.
